The mountain
– Teghenis (or Alibek), rises 2820 meters above sea level.
Average number of sunny days per year is 280, probability of good
weather – 77%. Average temperature in winter is -2 C
Currently,
there are 4 chair lifts (installed and operated by Leitner, Italy)
and 1 slide lifts. More lifts are planned to be constructed in
2007-2008. Current length of ski trails is 7200 meters, vertical
drop – 850 meters.

Trails are
prepared by 5 modern snow groomers. Proper snowmobile rescue service
is available for ski hours (usually 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). There
are excellent conditions for off-piste skiing and snowboarding
(firne, ice, powder).
